Peter Davis
Peter Davis is a Manchester-based prize-winning fine artist whose paintings tell stories about our time. Through his urban landscapes, he captures the interplay between the street, street art and passers-by absorbed in their phones, while his contemporary portraits explore themes including technology addiction and modern human behaviour. His work is held in both private and public collections, and he has exhibited widely, including at the Aesthetica Art Prize (2018), the John Moores Painting Prize (2020), the Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery (2024 and 2026), the Cass Art Prize (2025), and the Royal Scottish Academy (2026).
