"This one depicts a boarded-up office supplies shop in one of the few remaining untouched Victorian industrial buildings in central Manchester. Within the composition is a flyposter for Cat Burns' single, Know That You're Not Alone. I loved capturing the interplay between the street, the flyposters and the passer-by engrossed in their phone. Sadly, this building is crumbling fast. Even while I was working on the painting, the beautifully weathered shop signage had already started to fall away. I fear for its future."
